1 Built 11-Module Trading System
Designed and coded a complete Python trading bot from scratch: authentication, market discovery, live price engine, order manager, automated buy-low/sell-high strategy, risk management, real-time WebSocket streaming, and a historical backtester. All with dry-run mode, rate limiting, and graceful shutdown. 40 unit tests, all passing.
2 Navigated the Crypto Obstacle Course
The wallet had $10 in the wrong type of USDC and zero gas money to do anything. Solved it through a chain of creative moves:
Swap #1 — Gasless swap via 0x API: native USDC → USDC PoS (the right token). No gas needed — a relayer submits the transaction for you.
Swap #2 — Accidentally got WMATIC instead of native POL. Discovered the magic 0xEeee... address for native tokens.
Swap #3 — Got 0.307 POL (~$0.15) for gas fees. Then executed 6 on-chain approval transactions across 3 exchange contracts, fighting rate limits and switching from legacy to EIP-1559 transactions when the first attempts kept failing.
3 Live Trading — Real Money, Real Markets
First attempt revealed 3 more bugs: price rounding blew up order sizes, low prices rounded to zero, and WebSocket glitches triggered false stop-losses. Fixed all three autonomously.
The bot then placed a buy order for 200 shares at $0.01 on the "Will GTA 6 cost $100+?" market — matched instantly. Sell orders placed at $0.02 to capture profit.
4 Dashboard + Cloudflare Deployment
Built this live dashboard with Chart.js, then deployed it permanently to Cloudflare Pages with a secure Worker proxy for authenticated API calls. Your API keys are encrypted as Cloudflare secrets — never exposed to the browser.
